Zusammenarbeit mit Kylie Minogue eine Ente
Laut englischen Newsblättern sollte Kylie Minogue erneut mit den Jungs für einen Track ihres neuen Albums zusammenarbeiten. Ein Offizieller von Kylie.co.uk bestätigte aber auf Anfrage dieses Gerücht nicht und stellte es als falsch hin.
In der englischen Presse wurde über einen Song mit dem Arbeitstitel ‘Fill Me With Desire’ berichtet, welcher offensichtlich Hitpotential hat und bei der Plattenfirma als Single für Kylies nächstes Album in Planung gewesen sein sollte.
Wahr an der ganzen Geschichte ist lediglich, daß das neue Album von Kylie noch vor Ende diesen Jahres im Handel erscheinen soll!

Seems the latest news about Kylie Minogue is teaming up with the Pets for a new album track (which already is going through some british newspapers) isn’t true! Sorry for all the confusion, but some officials from Kylie.co.uk call it a fake and ‘untrue’.
At least most of the Kylie fans and even those of the PSB really would love another collaboration between the famous Australian singer and the british pop duo!
Disco 4 release expected for the end of September
According to some record dealers and internet shops, the release date for ‘Disco 4’ now can expected for September 24. Seems EMI/Parlophone have postphoned the date one month and the release of the album now is after the scheduled release of the single ‘Integral’ which should come out on September 10.
First promos of both releases will be out around the end of August and tracklistings of all hopefully follow in the next coming weeks.
A ‘Disco 4’ release for Japan is scheduled for the same date and will replace the already mentioned ‘Minimal’ single release, which was meant as a promotional single for the two live performances of the boys in Japan on August 11. and 12.
Maybe there’s now also a chance for a ‘Integral’ single release for all japanese fans! More details here, as soon as we get them!
Neil will appear on ‘Mad About The Boy The Songs Of Noel Coward’ on BBC Radio 2 tomorrow evening. The Pet Shop Boys’ lead singer, songwriter and composer will talk to fellow performers and enthusiasts about the enormous range of Noel Coward’s songs in this new, three-part series.
The first part of the serie will be broadcast by BBC Radio 2 tomorrow from 7 to 7:30pm (GMT). All further parts will follow on the next Fridays at the same time.

Disco 4 voraussichtlich Ende September
Das schon angekündigte 4. Album aus der ‘Disco’ Reihe kommt nun scheinbar erst einen Monat später in die Läden, als zunächst erwartet! Der derzeitige Termin für die deutsche Veröffentlichung ist der 21. September.
In UK und Japan wird das Album dann am 24. September erscheinen! Letzterer Termin hat auch dafür gesorgt, daß die geplante VÖ von ‘Minimal’ in Fernost gestrichen wurde.
Des weiteren ist die Veröffentlichung von ‘Integral’ zur Zeit auf den 10. September für Großbritannien datiert. Unter Umständen wird die Single auch in Europa (Deutschland) erscheinen. Falls dies passiert, wird das Erscheinungsdatum hier auf den Freitag davor (7. Sep.) fallen. Erste Promo-Veröffentlichungen beider Releases sollten für Mitte bis Ende August vorgesehen sein. Nähere Infos hierzu dann noch in den kommenden Wochen.
Neil wird morgen Abend wieder im Programm von Radio BBC 2 zu hören sein! Er ist in einer Sendung über Songs von Noel Coward zu Gast und wird mit anderen Fans und Liebhabern des englischen Songschreibers sprechen.
Die Sendung heißt ‘Mad About The Boy’ und wird von der BBC in drei Teilen ausgestrahlt. Der erste Teil läuft morgen um 20 Uhr für eine halbe Stunde im 2. Radioprogramm der BBC. Die Teile 2 und 3 gibt es dann immer an den darauffolgenden Freitagen zur gleichen Zeit.
