'It's rock, but that's taken within a Pet Shop Boys context, of course. It's quite interesting, actually, we've made sort of rock ballads using dance technology. I mean it's all samples and stuff. But it's a very beatiful album. It's almost all slow-tempo songs. And they're all love-songs. Chris kept saying 'No, that can't go on the album.' He wants love ballads to play when he gets home at three o clock in the morning.'

According to the latest rumours, Neil and Chris are planning to publish a new single in January 2002. The album follows in April or May.

The Pet Shop Boys have canceled all summer-gigs called 'Wotapalava' and postponed to next year. For further details check the offical website. Neil and Chris are working on a new studio-album this summer. It will probably be released next April! At the moment they are recording the cast album for 'Closer To Heaven' what will be released this autumn. Remember: tomorrow is Neils birthday - if you want to wish him happy returns sign my birthday card!
