According to some record dealers and internet shops, the release date for ‘Disco 4’ now can expected for September 24. Seems EMI/Parlophone have postphoned the date one month and the release of the album now is after the scheduled release of the single ‘Integral’ which should come out on September 10.
First promos of both releases will be out around the end of August and tracklistings of all hopefully follow in the next coming weeks.
A ‘Disco 4’ release for Japan is scheduled for the same date and will replace the already mentioned ‘Minimal’ single release, which was meant as a promotional single for the two live performances of the boys in Japan on August 11. and 12.
Maybe there’s now also a chance for a ‘Integral’ single release for all japanese fans! More details here, as soon as we get them!
Neil will appear on ‘Mad About The Boy The Songs Of Noel Coward’ on BBC Radio 2 tomorrow evening. The Pet Shop Boys’ lead singer, songwriter and composer will talk to fellow performers and enthusiasts about the enormous range of Noel Coward’s songs in this new, three-part series.
The first part of the serie will be broadcast by BBC Radio 2 tomorrow from 7 to 7:30pm (GMT). All further parts will follow on the next Fridays at the same time.
