EMI have decided to delay the release of the 'Battleship Potemkin' CD for manufacturing reasons. A new date, around the end of September, will be announced soon. Pet Shop Boys and EMI are also now negotiating with the Russian copyright owners of the film 'Battleship Potemkin' for a worldwide DVD release of the film overdubbed with Pet Shop Boys' soundtrack music.

As reported on their official website, The Pet Shop Boys have been approached by the British art book publishers, Thames & Hudson, to produce an illustrated book compiling their entire visual and design output over the last 20 years. The book, to be entitled 'Pet Shop Boys Catalogue', is being edited by Philip Hoare and Chris Heath and is expected to be published in autumn 2006.
