Markus Spoon (Jam&Spoon) dies aged 39.
Fans will know that ‘Jam&Spoon’ have worked on remixes for the PSB. Sadly, Markus Spoon passed away on Wednesday aged 39. Anyone wishing to leave a message in the condolence book can do so: http://www.mark-spoon.com Jam Ellmer has already declared that ‘Jam&Spoon’ are no more.
Release date of ‘Minimal’
The first Pet Shop Boys Single in 2006 Minimal will be released on March 10th!
PSB played on BBC’s The Blue Room?
Sunday’s edition of The Blue Room on BBC Radio 1 apparently played a dub version of the new ‘Psychological.’ Chris Coco introduced it as a white label he received with ‘PSB’ in the vinyl etching. You can listen to the show for the next seven days at [ Radio1 ] and the mix appears at about 1hr 25mins into the show.
Ask West End Girls a Question!!
A few months ago I mentioned that I’m producing a new PSB fanzine. I’m currently at the planning stage although its hopefully going to be available in April to coincide with ‘Fundamental’ and will be put together over the coming weeks.
I’ve managed to secure a Q&A with West End Girls for the issue. Rather than come up with the questions myself I thought that I would leave it open to you. So if you have any questions for the girls email me and I’ll pick the best and most suitable ones for them to answer!!! The closing date for questions is 10th January.
Their next single will be ‘West End Girls’ and their debut album which is called ‘Goes Petshopping’ is scheduled for release in late February.

Little Britain Actors to star in new vid?
from Madonnamad: On the MadonnaMadforum I found an excerpt from a Sun Article about her new single Sorry:
The new song will be remixed by the PET SHOP BOYS after a personal plea from her Madgesty. She bumped into NEIL TENNANT and CHRIS LOWE at a party last year and told them she thought they were brilliant.
And this piece on the new PSB video: The Pet Shop Boys recently signed up Little Britain stars MATT LUCAS and DAVID WALLIAMS to appear in the video of a single from their forthcoming brilliant album Fundamental. Having the two comedy kings associated with a tune produced by legendary hitmaker TREVOR HORN will be a little Brit special (source: The Sun)
