PSB Karriere in Londoner Galerie

Die Website der englischen National Portrait Gallery schreibt: ‘In einer neuen Ausstellung von Fotografien, Portraits und Tonträger Artwork der Pet Shop Boys wird derzeit auf die schöpferische und einfallsreiche Verwendung ihres öffentlichen Images zurückgeblickt. Die National Portrait Gallery feiert damit die seit langem anhaltende Karriere von Neil Tennant und Chris Lowe als die Pet Shop Boys…’

Die Ausstellung zeigt in erster Linie Fotografien des englischen Fotografs Eric Watson, lässt aber auch Fotos und Portraits anderer Künstler wie Pennie Smith oder Andy Earl nicht zu kurz kommen.

Die Ausstellung ist noch bis zum 4. März 2007geöffnet und in der Bookshop Gallery im Erdgeschoss der National Portrait Gallery (St. Martin’s Place, London WC2H 0HE) ansässig. Die Galerie ist täglich von 10 – 18 Uhr geöffnet, außer in der Zeit zwischen dem 24 und 26. Dezember 2006.

Pet Shop Boys arbeiten an einem Ballet

In einer englischen Zeitung wurde Chris kürzlich mit der Neuigkeit zitiert, daß die Jungs sich vorstellen könnten an einem Ballet zu schreiben. Vor kurzem hatten sie eine Idee für ein klassisches Ballet, welche sie nun mit einem Londoner Freund (welcher Ballet-Tänzer ist) in der nächsten Zeit versuchen umzusetzen.

Entschieden – Neil:

Gestern beim Mitternachts-Signing in einem Plattenladen in New York hat Neil auf Anfrage eines Fans gesagt: ‘…sollte es eine 4. Single geben, dann wird es ‘Integral’ sein!’

Damit sollten dann auch letzte Gerüchte vom Tisch sein, daß ‘The Sodom and Gomorrah show’ eventuell noch eine Chance auf eine Veröffentlichung hat.
