Neil and Chris will (probably) play their new single at the ‘New Pop Festival’. This event is being broadcasted by the German TV broadcaster ZDF on September, 20th.

New single

According to the official website, the first release from the upcoming ‘Greatest Hits’-album will be a NEW song. So 77% were right 😉

For their next studio album Neil and Chris produced with Trevor Horn (‘Its alright’,’Left To My Own Devices’), Chris Zippel (‘Positive Role Model’,’London’) and Adam F.

Release date

According to EMI Belgium, the release date of the ‘Greatest Hits’ album is November, 3rd.

Here are the most interesting answers:

– The gig in Turkey will last about 100 mins

– New single is out in October

– The greatest Hits album will be ONE CD – selection made by Neil and Chris

– They are probably going to release a DVD of the ‘Release’ tour

– The new album will be pretty electronic with very interesting lyrics

– ‘Nightlife’ will one day re-released with bonus CD

– They’re not recording anything with Sophie Ellis Bextor

– There seems to be a new tour next year

PSB and Elton John?

According to [ Pet Shop Boys OnPage ] Neil and Chris just recorded a version of ‘I Believe/Song For Guy’ with Elton John in Bob Kraushaar’s studio. Check PSB OnPage for a sample recorded in Eltons Show ‘An Audience With Elton John’.
