Neil about the new album

‘The next album could be our first purely electronic album. That said, one track already has an orchestra on it. But the lyrics will be funnier and cynical. I’m in the mood to write frivolous pop songs. I want people to say ‘that is SO Pet Shop Boys’ – they haven’t done that in ages.’ (Neil Tennant)

‘Closer to Heaven’ postponed until June 2005

Brisbane Powerhouse originally had planned to open ‘Closer To Heaven’ late January as listed on their website, but decided in November to opt for June 2005 during the Pride Festival as a better time.
