BACK TO MINE COMPILATION
Chris and Neil have each prepared a CD for release in the ‘Back To Mine’ series in which musicians and DJs compile a sequence of favourite tracks for ‘after-hours grooving’.
‘Back To Mine: Pet Shop Boys’ will be a double-CD release, one CD of Chris’s choices and one of Neil’s. Further details and the release date will follow in due course.

PSB write for Alcazar
According to the Swedish tabloid Expressen the Pet Shop Boys have written a new track for the forthcoming album with Alcazar. The track is called Baby, and it is described as a brilliant, dramatic, electronic and sad epic song that reminds him of Being Boring. Baby was originally written as a PSB/Alcazar contribution to the Eurovision song contest, but the song wasnt finished in time for the British competition. You can read the article at

Neil about the new album
‘The next album could be our first purely electronic album. That said, one track already has an orchestra on it. But the lyrics will be funnier and cynical. I’m in the mood to write frivolous pop songs. I want people to say ‘that is SO Pet Shop Boys’ – they haven’t done that in ages.’ (Neil Tennant)
