A vinyl 12-inch single will follow on September 23rd in the UK and September 30th elsewhere.

Today, 35 years ago, Neil and Chris met in an electronics shop on Kings Road in Chelsea, London in August 1981. "Recognising a mutual interest in dance music, they began to work on material together, first in Tennant's flat in Chelsea and from 1982, in a small studio in Camden Town. To celebrate Pet Shop Boys' highly-anticipated, sold-out residency at London’s Royal Opera House this July, Pet Shop Boys have announced a special 12” vinyl release of their single Inner Sanctum.

The release features a remix by legendary Detroit techno DJ and producer Carl Craig, as well as two demo versions of the Pet Shop Boys single, which are exclusive to this vinyl release. The vinyl will be available to purchase through the official PSB store and other retailers, and will also be on sale at the Inner Sanctum Royal Opera House shows. Carl Craig’s remix will be available digitally from July 22.
