New Live DVD Video is called ‘Cubism’
Here some new facts from Warner Vision for the upcoming new Pet Shop Boys video release – scheduled for May 14. in Europe.
‘Cubism – Live In Concert’ was filmed in High Definition on November 14th 2006 in Mexico City at the Auditorio Nacionale. It was directed by David Barnard whose previous credits include the live concert films of Björk and Gorillaz. The sound for the film has now been mixed by long-standing Pet Shop Boys engineer Bob Kraushaar in both stereo and 5:1 surround sound.

Community Sektion jetzt auch in deutsch!
Nachdem es Anfang des Jahres schon versprochen wurde, hat Chris in der letzten Zeit begonnen einige Sektionen der deutschen Unterseite auf die Belange der deutschsprachigen Fangemeinde abzustimmen.
So gibt es jetzt in der Community Sektion ein Forum, welches in Deutsch geführt werden kann, ohne dabei die englischsprachigen Fans zu stören. Das Forum soll in erster Linie dazu dienen, hier schnell Fragen zu und über die Jungs zu stellen bzw. mit anderen Fans über PSB-Themen zu diskutieren!
Das große Pet Shop Boys Forum unter www.petheads.de bleibt davon unberührt und hat dort auch weiterhin Bestand!
Die neue Variante hier, soll all jenen nutzen, die im großen Forum nicht die Lust und Zeit haben, täglich die Übersicht über die dort anfallenden Themen zu behalten.
Beiträge schreiben könnt ihr mit den Accounts, mit denen ihr Euch schon hier angemeldet habt, oder aber noch anmelden werdet. Letzteres ist ebenfalls in der Community Sektion unter ‘Login / Anmelden’ möglich!
Wer also Fragen hat, die sich um die Pet Shop Boys drehen, oder aber Fragen anderer Fans beantworten will, kann dies ab jetzt unter COMMUNITY tun. Viel Spass dabei!
Avengers actor Gareth Hunt dies
Actor Gareth Hunt, star of The New Avengers, has died of pancreatic cancer aged 65, his agent has announced. Hunt played the role of Mike Gambit in the TV series, alongside Joanna Lumley’s Purdey and Patrick McNee as John Steed. Lumley paid tribute to her ‘dear friend’ who she said was ‘loved by everyone who knew him’.
We also particularly enjoyed him from his ‘Illuminated suit’ in the PSB video ‘It Couldn’t Happen Here’ and maybe he would state now: ‘…its only a laugh…no harm done…’!
R.I.P Mr. Gareth Hunt, thanks for all!
Cover of ‘Run Girl Run’ by a German fan
It is not Neil Tennant but his voice is so similar. The German fan Chris Kalera did a cover of ‘Run Girl Run’ – just for fun. He put the result on MySpace to let us enjoy listening to him and show us how a version of this great song -by Neil Tennant- could sound like.
