EMI have decided to delay the release of the ‘Battleship Potemkin’ CD for manufacturing reasons. A new date, around the end of September, will be announced soon. Pet Shop Boys and EMI are also now negotiating with the Russian copyright owners of the film ‘Battleship Potemkin’ for a worldwide DVD release of the film overdubbed with Pet Shop Boys’ soundtrack music.
