review from PSB’s performance at Brixton Academy. Check it out here: http://www.playlouder.com/feature/950petshopboys/

Here’s an review by Alistair (thanks!)

Any doubts about the Scottish audience from Glasgows Nightlife tour must been put to bed after last nights Edinburgh rousing

performance. Within seconds of the opening bars of Home and Dry the fully seated Playhouse theatre were on their feet dancing and

thats the way it stayed until the end. Neil whippd the crowd up into a frenzy declaring they were Edinburgh virgins and that the audience

were clearly enjoying themselves. They effortlessy glided through the old and new favourites. New single I Get Along was raptuously

received alongside stripped down versions of West End Girls, Go West (with the audience filling in the missing bits) and the uptempo

Love Comes Quickly and A Red Letter Day firm favourites. Chris sat a few feet from me (front row seating) and despite numerous

requests refused to give a performance of Paninaro he refused. Finishing the set with Go West they walked off from the minimal set but

the crowd got them back for not one but 2 encores and the night finished with Here. They promised to return and the crowd departed

after enjoying the show.
